Pregnancy tests are available at the majority of supermarkets and pharmacies, but some women are using an alternative method to check if they’re pregnant, without leaving their bathroom. It is alternative to the test stick that needs to buy from the market.
The “toothpaste pregnancy test” is the cheap, DIY method gaining popularity and it’s just as bizarre as it sounds. To conduct the test women need to place a moderate amount of toothpaste on a plate or in a cup and add a few drops of their urine to it. If the woman is pregnant the toothpaste should change color or begin to froth. And if the woman is not pregnant the toothpaste will apparently stay the same.
Even if the ‘toothpaste test’ does appear to be ‘positive’, it is strongly recommend that any possible mum-to-be gets official confirmation of the fact that they are indeed pregnant with a proper pregnancy test.
